Chrislam & the Emerging World Religion

Vance Havner once said that the Devil was too smart to try and destroy Christianity with a full frontal attack; so, instead he would create a counterfeit version that was so close to the real thing, even truly born-again Christians would be afraid to speak out against it.  We have lived to see that day!

Revelation 17, describes a woman who is revealed as a harlot.  [The picture to the left, is a statue of Europa riding Zeus in front of the European Parliament Bldg.  It reminds me of Revelation 17!] Her name is Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots.  She comes to power riding on a beast that has 7 heads and 10 horns.  We immediately think of the False Religion of Ancient Babylonians, who worshiped the child Nimrod and his harlot mother.  In fact, ALL false religion can be traced back to Nimrod and the Tower of Babel; and that unholy Babylonian lifestyle that ensued.

Some time after Nimrod came Nebuchadnezzar.  He came to power in a city that was dominated by every false religion, idol, and cult known to man; yet he set up an image to Himself and demanded worship or be thrown into the midst of the fiery furnace.  This is exactly what is occurring in Revelation 17!  The Antichrist (Beast) and his world govt. will unite all the religions of the world under one banner, yet it will use her like a harlot and when finished will cast her off and destroy her.

AND EFFORTS TO UNITE THE WORLD'S RELIGIONS ARE ALREADY UNDER WAY!!!

• According to an article on World Net Daily by Joseph Farah, last 4th of July weekend, Pastor Rick Warren spoke to a radical Saudi based Wahabi Muslim group about the need to emphasize our similarities instead of our differences.
• U.N. backed Interfaith Harmony week is promoting harmony not just among religions but also people of no faith at all.  They promote the love of the good and the love of the neighbor.
• A Common Word Initiative is seeking to unite Muslims and Christians by hosting readings where the Bible and the Quran are read, seeking to again emphasize our similarities and not differences.
•  In 2009, Barak Obama announced that we are no longer a Christian nation, but a nation of many people of different faiths and some of no faith.

These are just a few of numerous examples found online and elsewhere.  We are quickly moving to a world without boundaries.  There are no national boundaries, b/c of trade deals and illegal immigration.  There are no more religious boundaries, b/c of pluralism and efforts like those mentioned above.  There are no more moral boundaries, b/c of relativism and humanism.

AND MANY PROFESSING CHRISTIANS WILL BE DECEIVED IN THESE LAST DAYS!!!
 

1Ti 4:1   Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

If possible, the very elect of God might be deceived, so we better be prayed up, studied up, filled up and speak up before Christ comes and takes us up!  We are quickly moving toward the time known as "Great Tribulation." Jesus is coming back to rapture His church prior to that event! ARE YOU READY TO MEET HIM? If not, pray and trust Him 2day.  Repent of your sin, purify yourself even as He is pure!
