The Rebirth of Babylon, The Battle of Gog and Magog, and other Signs!

Dear friends,

To say we are living in exciting times is an understatement! We literally could be on the brink of a Super Man (Antichrist) stepping forward, confirming a covenant with Israel, and the Time of Jacob's Troubles (AKA Great Tribulation) beginning!

Revelation 18 tells us that Babylon will be the Capital of the Beast and will be destroyed in 1 hour. So, what is that Babylon? I believe it is the revived Roman empire (European Union). Take a look at this poster promoting the EU!





Daniel 9:25-27 tells us who this beast will be, where he will come from, and what he will do.

Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

First, we see that he will be a world ruler that will rise after the Messiah, is cut off. That happened 483 yrs. (69 weeks of years) to the day after Nehemiah obtained letters from Xerxes to rebuild Jerusalem and the walls. Daniel tells us that a prince would come, but prior to his coming, his people (nation(s)) would destroy the city and the sactuary (temple). We know from History that Titus the Roman destroyed the temple in A.D. 70, not leaving 1 stone upon another as Jesus himself prophesied.

Anyway, this leader of Babylon/Revived Roman Empire will confirm a covenant with Israel for 1 week (7 years) just after I believe the Battle of Gog and Magog described in Ezekiel 38 and 39. In this battle, God will supernaturally protect Israel against the invaders and it will take 7 yrs. to burn the weapons and 7 months to bury the dead.

In this battle, An army from the North (Gog-possibly Russia), Magog (Possibly China), Persia (Iran) and Cush (African nations of Sudan & Somalia), along with Lybia will unite and come against Israel. We talked a few posts ago about Netanyahu beginning to talk of a preemptive strike against Iran. Ahmedinijad recently denounced Israel at the U.N. causing a walk-out as well.

CAN'T YOU SEE THE TABLE BEING SET FOR THIS END TIME BATTLE TO OCCUR!?!

Finally, with China now holding a majority of U.S. debt, and Russia controlling a large portion of the oil supply to Southern Europe, in the event that this war breaks out, the U.S. could not afford to intervene, and could on the contrary find itself siding against Israel. Should China choose not to buy any more U.S. debt and Russia cut off the oil supply to Europe, To borrow a line from Kruschev, "America could be destroyed without firing a shot." Furthermore, Russia and China would control the economy of the world, and China has recently called for a new global currency. China and Europe are also working together on many projects, so it is not hard to see how America could crumble and Europe emerge as the lone super power once China and Russia are off the scene if they are indeed Gog and Magog. Or, if China is not Magog, she could be the military arm of the EU/Antichrist New World Order!
