Could this be China?

Not long ago, I did a post about the rise of China as a major world power. In fact, China is rising as quickly as America is sinking. I read not long ago, where the United States owes China an astronomical amount of money to the tune of $600 billion+. China is said to have military bases in our hemisphere. She has a huge manufacturing base, and she is hungry for power. Furthermore, for years, the Chinese have had forced abortions, especially if the baby is a girl. What has this led to? It has led to an unhealthy male to female ratio, which has males far outnumbering the females. As a result, the young men, frustrated with life, are turning to the military. So, where does China play into the scheme of End-time prophecy? I believe China is found in these verses in Revelation 9.

Rev 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Rev 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen [were] two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
Rev 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses [were] as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

During the Tribulation period, 4 angels will be loosed, which are being held at the River Euphrates. Now, before I go any further, I would like to discuss these angelic beings for a moment. I had always believed them to be demonic, possibly some of the angels which fell. But they don't have to be. In fact, we have no proof from Scripture that they are incarcerated at all. They are simply being held back until the proper hour, day, month and year, after which they will go forth and do what they are supposed to do. We find them going out and stirring up this massive army, which will kill 1/3 of mankind.

Now, if this army is human and not demonic, there is really only one nation which can field such an army, and that is China. Could it be that God will use China to bring judgment upon some other nations that have rejected Him? It isn't so far fetched. I realize that China is communist and has been for some time. But China was also the only nation which opened its borders to the Jews during the Holocaust, and God knows this as well.

Now, we go to another Apocalyptic Vision in Zechariah 6.

Zec 6:1 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains [were] mountains of brass.
Zec 6:2 In the first chariot [were] red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
Zec 6:3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
Zec 6:4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What [are] these, my lord?
Zec 6:5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These [are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
Zec 6:6 The black horses which [are] therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
Zec 6:7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
Zec 6:8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Here, we have 4 chariots being driven by 4 spirits, which have been standing before the Lord. They go out from between 2 mountains of bronze. Now, bronze or brass, usually represents judgment. Two mountains of bronze would represent judgment that had been building up for a long time. These 4 chariots with horses of red, black, white and dappled, are released to bring judgment on the earth. The black horses go north, followed by the white horses. After bringing God's judgment to the North Country, God's spirit is quieted there. Evidently, this "North Country" had so agitated God's spirit that He could hold back his fury no longer, so he sends judgment.

Now, as with all apocalyptic visions, this is up for debate. But could Zechariah have been seeing the same thing that John saw? Could these 4 spirits be the same which will stir up the 200 million man army to bring judgment in the last days? I believe it can be. Perhaps, God's fury is building and will be released. Perhaps, he will use China to do so.

So, who is this North Country? That too is up for debate. Some believe it to be Russia. Others believe it to be Babylon, for Babylon had conquered the Assyrians to the North of Israel, and the Medes/Persians occupied it at the time of Zechariah. So, in a prophetic sense, this could be God's judgment of political Babylon, which is the Kingdom of the Beast. We know that in Revelation 18, that Babylon will fall in one hour. Perhaps God will use China to accomplish His purpose!?!

I'm not being dogmatic on this point, but it is a real possibility. We do see China rising, and there will be a massive army of 200 million to rise and bring judgment on the earth. Furthermore, we see the Kings of the East marching to Armageddon in Revelation as well.

But whatever the case, we can rest assured that God is in full control! He has everything worked out according to His timetable. Everything is happening on time and according to schedule. We need to be ready, for the bridegroom could come get us at any moment! What if it were today!?!
