Neither Did they Repent

Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
Rev 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails [were] like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

To say that we live in strange times is an understatement! Just this week, after only 4 days in office, President Obama has signed more Executive Orders than any President in History during their first week in office. And what what did these orders do? Well, one reversed the policy of the Bush Administration on Abortion and allows for tax payer dollars to fund abortion overseas. He has also said he would sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would make it illegal to protest in front of an abortion clinic, and would reverse the ban on partial birth abortion, which President Bush signed into law. Another Executive Order effectively closed the Guantanimo Bay prison facility, where many terrorists were being kept. It also allows for prisoners in the War on Terror to sue the U.S. Government.

So let me get this straight, Mr. President. You feel it's ok for those responsible for the murder of many Americans to go free and even sue our government for unfair treatment, and at the same time you want to make it easier to kill our own unborn children. GOD HELP US!!! WHAT ARE WE DOING TO OUR CHILDREN!?!

It is interesting to study the Book of Revelation and see the terrible things which are yet to come upon the earth during the time known as "The Great Tribulation." It is even more interesting when we see many of these things taking place today. Now, as stated in previous posts, I do not believe the 7 year week of Tribulation has begun, nor will it until the Antichrist enters into a 7 year covenant with Israel, according to Daniel 9. Furthermore, I believe the Bride of Christ will be gone before that event takes place, however, we do see many of the conditions, which the Lord through John said would characterize the last days.

In verse 21, we see the 4 major sins of the last days. These have been known as "The Other 4 Horsemen of the Appocalypse. The Bible here describes some plagues which will come upon the earth during that time, and 1/3 of all mankind will be killed. However, after all this, mankind as a whole still doesn't repent. And what do they not repent of? Murders, Sorcery, Fornication, and Thefts!

You would think that with all of the trouble in the world today and all the economic struggles facing Americans, we too would repent. But instead, we continue to go down the path of liberalism and socialism, turning our noses up at God, the Bible and the Constitution. We continue in a Social Darwinist fashion, in which we and not God get to decide who will live and who will not! And God is not mocked! We will reap what we have sown.

We have sown murder and shed innocent blood since 1973, and that blood is crying out as the blood of righteous Abel from the ground for vengeance. The souls of unborn children and the martyrs of Christ are crying out from under the mercy seat in Heaven for vengeance. And do I need to remind you of what Proverbs 6 tells us about what God thinks of the hands who shed innocent blood? That's right! He hates it! He is angry with the wicked every day. And there is no blood more innocent than that of a baby inside of its Mother's Womb!

Furthermore, we're a land of sorcerers. The word for sorcery in the Greek is "Pharmakaion" where we get our word "pharmacy." It is speaking of a two-fold sin of witchcraft and drug addiction. Our entire society is addicted to drugs, and not just illegal one's. You have people going from doctor to doctor to doctor, trying to get more and more pain killers prescribed to deal with a pain that is far greater than physical pain. It is the pain of a troubled soul longing for something, but unsure what it is.

We also are a land of fornicators. Fornication is a word typically associated with pre-marital sex, but the Greek word is "porneia." It is where we get our word "pornography." It has everything to do with image. All around us we are assaulted with porn. It's on billboards; it's on TV; it's on the front covers of magazines; it's on late night; and it's on in prime-time. It has invaded our thoughts and minds, and now, many can't get the "images" out of their mind if they wanted to.

Finally, we're a nation of thieves. We rob from one another and call it borrowing. We think it's ok to rob from the rich and give to the poor. We take away from those who work to give to those who do not. People steal to support their sorcery, and they steal because they think they can get away with it. Well friends, we can't!

God is watching, and He's keeping very good books! Sure, He's a God of Love and Mercy, and He longs for you to turn away from sin and unto Him; but He's a gentleman! He will not force you to do what is right. We can only hope for our own sake and the sake of our children that America does repent, if the Lord tarries His coming. But I do believe we are in the last days! The days of Noah are here! They were days when "the thoughts and intents of the heart were only evil continually." Jesus said that's how it would be just before He returns. Let us exhort one another to live holy and separated lives in these last days! And let us continue to sound the alarm and take a stand for righteousness, regardless of the cost! May God bless you! MARANATHA!
