The voice of one crying in the wilderness, "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand!"

Are we seeing our last days as an empire?
Today, we inaugurate a new President. And I'm not here to decry the wisdom or lack there of by the American people in electing him. However, I will say that he needs our prayers. There are great problems at home and abroad. We have sown to the wind as a nation and we are reaping the whirlwind. Solomon wrote in Proverbs 22:28, "Remove not the ancient landmark which your fathers have set." I know that our founding fathers have been idolized by some and demonized by others, but they did have sense enough to found our society on 2 great documents (The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States), both of which were based upon the Word of God. The reason we are in the shape that we are in is that we have thrown off the restraint of our founding fathers and the 2 great landmarks that they set. In our self proclaimed wisdom, we have forsaken the God of our fathers and worshipped and served false gods. It is true that you cannot serve God and mammon. Now, we as a society no longer serve the true and living God, but instead we serve the god of foreign bankers, and we worship at the altar of high interest loans to gratify our flesh and satisfy what we believe is our inherant right to be happy.
Thomas Jefferson warned against this back in 1802
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
He later earlier had written
"Paper is poverty,... it is only the ghost of money, and not money itself."
--Thomas Jefferson to Edward Carrington, 1788. ME 7:36
"Experience has proved to us that a dollar of silver disappears for every dollar
of paper emitted." --Thomas Jefferson to James Monroe, 1791. ME 8:208
James Monroe, in 1823, writing shortly after the War of 1812, warned in his now famous, Monroe Doctrine, about foreign entanglements and colonization. He basically set for us as a foreign policy that Europe would not colonize here and we wouldn't there. We would stay out of their affairs, as long as they did ours. But now, what do we have? Huge armaments and High taxation to pay for them.
We used to have a money that was "as good as gold." Now, we have paper money, which is only as good as the Federal Reserve and International Bankers say that it is. And now, whenever someone like Ron Paul comes along and warns us and tries to get us to return the wisdom of the founders, they are immediately ostricized and marginalized as being out of touch with the mainstream of American thought!
Scottish historian, Alexander Tyler wrote in 1797 about the temporary nature of democracies. He had this to say:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a
permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until
the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from
the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for
the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury,
with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose
fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."
"The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning
of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these
nations always progressed through the following sequence:
>
1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage
We are at least in stage 7, if not already stage 8. We have a poor work ethic and sense of entitlement that goes back to the days of FDR, and now that we are broke we can't pay for our foreign wars and government programs; so we're taxing those that work and borrowing massive amounts of money from foreign countries and banks.
So, what does this have to do with Bible Prophecy? Everything!
Throughout Scripture, we see phrase like the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled. And now, we see God dealing with Israel again. Furthermore, throughout history there has been a shift of power from East to West and Back East. Power went from the Persians, to the Greeks, to the Romans. Then back to China, the Ottomans, the French, the English and now America. Who is the next major world empire and super power, which will march to Israel at Armageddon? THE KINGS OF THE EAST!
With China and Japan, North and South Korea, now trying to open up diplomatic relations with one another again, we see this coming about. Furthermore, you "stimulus check" last summer was financed by China, whom we financed with free trade several years back. Have you been to Wal-Mart lately? Where is the majority of products made, which are being sold here? Exactly! China!
As you can see, time is drawing near for Christ to return! The world stage is being set, and Armageddon is approaching. Israel is coming back into the forefront as the Apple of God's Eye, and the times of the Gentiles is being fulfilled. Now is the time to not get depressed, but get ready! Prepare to meet your God! Adorn yourself in righteousness and look up for our redemption is drawing nigh!

Brother,
ReplyDeleteYou are so RIGHT! You have managed to say in a few short paragraphs what I have been trying to say for over three years.
Some way some how the bride of Christ has got to wake up, not to try an attempt to avert whats happening because if we believe the Bible we KNOW that this is all Gods will.
Just to ask the Holy Spirit to open eyes and ears,so we can all hear what God is saying to us! we are his Bride
Thanks for your encouragement! I heard a preacher friend of mine preaching recently, and he said, "At the time when the Church ought to be the most excited, it seems we are the most asleep." However, that is prophesied as well in Matthew 25. "While the Bridegroom tarried, THEY ALL SLUMBERED AND SLEPT." Keep warning folks and spreading the good news! Maranatha!
