To say we are living in perilous times, would be an understatement. Yet, to say we are living in the most exciting times in human history would be an understatement as well. This blog has dealt extensively with the plight of the Jewish people, the times of Jacob's trouble and just Israel in Bible prophecy in general. Why? You might ask. The reason is simple. Israel is the key to all Bible prophecy. From the 1st Coming of Messiah to the 2nd. Israel is the key to the beginning of Daniel's 70th week of prophecy (the Great Tribulation) beginning, at the beginning Christ will come in the clouds for His Bride in Rapture. At the end Christ will come with His Bride for Israel in Revelation to set up His Kingdom on the throne of his Father David in Jerusalem. The prophet Daniel prophesied over 2500 yrs. ago that a little horn which speaks blasphemies against the Most High God and even claims to be God himself would confirm a Covenant with God's People (Israel) for 1 week (7 yrs.). He will break it in the middle of the week, after 42 months or 1260 days; and Christ will return at the end of the week to make an end of such desolations and set up His kingdom.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Dan 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.
Dan 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
Dan 7:25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Dan 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy [it] unto the end.
Dan 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Today, everywhere you turn on the news, we read of Obama, Tony Blair and others "pressuring Netanyahu" to back the "2 State Solution." Here's a few of the headlines just this week, after Obama's meeting with Netanyahu at the White House Monday.

Zec 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.
Zec 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark:
Zec 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light.
Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day, [that] living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
It is easy to see where a world leader could arise with all the answers, "speaking great and swelling words," deceiving the masses with his great oratory, and deceive Israel into entering into a Covenant for 7 yrs. creating a 2 state solution. Perhaps even rebuilding the temple side by side the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. And then midway through he will break the Covenant and persecute God's people. While it will be a time of Jacob's trouble, it is necessary to purify them and get them ready to receive their true Messiah, Jesus Christ! The point is this Christ is Coming, probably soon! Whatever you need to do to prepare do it today! Trust in Christ and then His coming will be a comfort to your heart. He will never leave you or forsake you, and He will return just in the nick of time, destroy the Antichrist and be King over all the Earth! Keep looking up, Jesus IS coming soon! God Bless!
