Neither did they Repent, Part 2

Revelation 9:21 NKJV - "Neither did they repent of their murders, or of their sorceries, or of their sexual immorality, or of their thefts."

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV - "But know this, in the last days perilous itmes will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty., lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

According to an article today on www.worldnetdaily.com by Chelsea Schilling, entitled, "Players Rape and Force Abortion in Hit Game," there is a Japanese computer game where players must rape women and force them to have abortions for sale on eBay.com and has been available at Amazon.com until today. It makes you wonder what our society is going to when this is called "entertainment." We have lost our regard for human dignity, much less human life. Our children play these video games/role games, and then we wonder why they act them out in real life.

Is this really our idea of entertainment? Where is the conscience of society? Used to the Church of the Lord Jesus would have taken a stand for righteousness and decency, but now we are as the prophets of old have described, "Dumb dogs which cannot bark." We refused to bark in the 60's when the sexual revolution was taking place, and now we cannot bark; and if we did very few would listen. Former Presidential Candidate Alan Keyes said it best in 1996, when he said, "In the 60's we had the sexual revolution, and we all lost!"

As a matter of fact, there was a survey done a few years back among hotels in a certain city during a convention for preachers, and without exception pornographic movie sales was up during the time of the convention. I must ask, "If the preachers, who are supposed to be the watchmen on the wall are watching this perversion, can we really expect our flock or even our own children to not do the same?" It is a shame and disgrace to a Holy God for leaders in His Church to be participating in such filth!

No wonder it is as Ezekiel prophesied in Ezekiel 22:27-28, 30 - "Her princes in the midst are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, to get dishonest gain. Her prophets have plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, thus says the Lord when the Lord has not spoken. So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none."

How sad, that God was willing to spare the land for just one righteous man, but he found none! Let that not be said of our day! Jesus said that it would be as it were in the days of Noah when He returned; and Genesis 6 tells us that that was a day when the thoughts and intents of the heart were only evil continually. We find in the New Testament that Noah was a preacher of righteousness. He preached for 120 years and no one responded except the 7 others in his immediate family. Today, we are living in those days! But even if the vast majority do not want to listen, we need some righteous men and women of God to take hold of the horns of the altar and pray! We need a few good men and women to make a wall and stand in the gap. Our time is short friends, and we need to live like there is no tomorrow, because as far as we're concerned and this age of grace in which we live, there might not be a tomorrow! We must live for Jesus in these last days; and win souls to Him before it's too late. As the old addage goes, "The hands on the prophetic clock are about to strike midnight." We must discern the times; see what lies at the door; and warn others accordingly. Keep fighting the good fight of faith until Jesus Comes! MARANATHA!
