Are they Coming?

In an article today on World Net Daily by Bob Unruh, entitled, "Beware, We are Coming," there are reportedly radical Muslims in Somalia calling for Islamic rule from "Alaska to Chile to Japan to South Africa." In other words, the radical Muslims are still calling for the Jihad of the Sword until the entire world is under Islamic control.

So what does this have to do with Bible prophecy? And where do the Islamic Radicals fall into Bible prophecy? Will there be world Islamic rule? Are they just pawns in a bigger Chess match? These questions and more might be filling your mind, as they have mine in the past. I believe the answers lie in the Book of Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39.

In these 2 chapters, we see a war taking place against Israel in the "latter times." It is after Israel has been regathered into her homeland and a time of relative peace. These chapters describe a great Army from the North, described as Gog and Magog, coming against Israel in the last days, along with a coalition of Islamic States. In verse 2 of chapter 38, it gives us a clue as to who these people are. In the NKJV, it reads thus, "Son of Man, set your face against God, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meschech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him." The Hebrew word Rosh was later translated into the Latin Ruscia, getting the picture? Russia will lead a coalition of Islamic states against Israel in the last days.

We are seeing this unfold before our very eyes. Whether it was Russia's aggression against the oldest Christian state in Europe, Georgia, trying to seize control of the natural gas pipeline to Eastern Europe, or her actions in South America and Cuba, Russia is clearly on the move and is trying to reassert herself as a major world power. For those who thought the Russian bear was dead, IT WAS ONLY HIBERNATING AND NOW IT HAS AWAKENED VERY HUNGRY!!!

More players in this struggle are found in verse 5, which states, "Persia, Ethiopia and Lybia are with them, all of them with shield and helmet." Persia, as we know is modern day Iran. Most Iranians will tell you they are not Iranians but Persians. Iran has been pouring money into nuclear weapons programs, as well as many terrorist organizations throughout the Middle East including Hamas, whom Israel's current struggle is with, for years.

Ethiopia, is a strange player. If you take Ethiopia here as meaning the actual country, you might think it impossible. But Ethiopia should actually be translated Cush, which settled in the coastlands of Eastern Africa. Is it coming into focus now? Exactly! Probably either Somalia or Sudan, both are Islamic nations.



Lybia, well it's Lybia in Northern Africa. A long-time Muslim stronghold led by Archnemesis Kudhafi. This scenario is not only plausible, but is happening before our eyes.

So, will they successfully annihilate Israel? Are you kidding me!?! Annihilate the apple of God's Eye. God's callings and promises are irrevocable! They cannot be taken back. The Scripture tells us that God is the one drawing them down with hooks in their jaws. He is punishing them for their cruelty against God's people throughout the centuries. Whether it was Stalin in Russia murdering Jews and Christians or Islamic Jihadists in the Middle East and Africa doing the same, God is keeping good records! The blood of the martyrs is crying out for vengeance from under the mercy seat in Heaven! God is going to repay his wages! And I believe soon.

God will draw them down and defeat them without anyone firing a shot! Anyway, lift up your heads. We're in the last days and our redemption is drawing nigh!
